Dan Ambrose was born in the Midwest and raised on a 300-acre farm. He is a Dad of a Son and twin Daughters. He is an author, entrepreneur, fire walker, and senior care advocate. Faith, Family, Health and Peace of Mind are his priorities.

Dan experienced first-hand the emotional and financial struggle that families face when he was unexpectedly confronted with the reality of transitioning his own Mother into senior care, commonly called the “flashpoint”. He was challenged by the lack of direction and resources available for a process that nearly all of us will eventually need to go through. That experience inspired Dan to use his personal and professional experience to help families transition their loved ones into senior care. In the last fifteen years Dan has had the honor of meeting with over 3,500 families going through some sort of life transition. Dan wanted to partner with the Paying for Long-Term Care initiative. By co-authoring this book, he will to be able to place resources in the hands of families who are currently supporting a senior transition into long-term care or are planning ahead for their “flashpoint” moment. Dan hopes this book provides families with answers on how to take the next best step for their loved one’s long-term care.

Dan enjoys meeting new people, traveling, boating, cars and outdoor adventures – he plans on traveling around the United States in a motorhome in the near future to begin working on a new book. He currently lives between Texas and Florida enjoying all that life has to offer.
